1960's-70's - Buckmaster Puppets

The Holiday Camp Era


In l968 we had the offer to return to Skegness at the D.M.W. Holiday Centre this time as Childrens’ Entertainers, so we were back as a double act with the puppets.  It was a very long season so our son and daughter went to school in Skegness. This we did for two years very successfully as a family.













During the winter time we returned home to London for the Clubland scene.  A summer tour for Butlins followed on the East Coast - Filey, Skegness & Clacton.














Then a chance to be a Childrens’ Entertainer once again, as a single act at the Beachcomber Holiday Centre, Cleethorpes, with the family visiting in the school holidays. This lasted for three years.  











Winters were spent back in London with all the usual bookings, Christmas etc.
